PSP 7

Create a special folder for your Plug-ins.
Put all installed plug-ins in there.
A new plug-in? Always install it into this folder.
Open your program Paint Shop Pro 7
Go to: File - Preferences - File Locations.
The next window will open: (I don't have the example picture in English, sorry)

Select the Tab Plug-ins
Make sure the checks are just like in the example.
Browse to the folder where you installed your filters (follow the arrows)
Then click OK and your Plug-ins can be used in PSP 7.
Don't forget to close and re-open your PSP program!!!!

PSP 8

Create a special folder for your plug-ins.
Put all installed plug-ins in there.
A new plug-in? Always install it into this folder.
Open your program Paint Shop Pro 8
Go to: File - Preferences - File Locations.

Select Plug-ins in the list at the left.

Click Add if you have more folders.
Then click OK and your Plug-ins can be used in PSP 8.

Click Add to browse to the folder where you installed your plug-ins
Then click OK and your Plug-ins can be used in PSP 9.
Don't forget to close and re-open your PSP program!!!!

Note:

By installing your plug-ins in a separate folder instead off in the program, you don't lose everything when your PSP program crashes.

Another advantage
Maybe you want to replace your program with a newer version.
Now all you have to do is set the preference off the file locations back again, so you can use the plug-ins again.
